Well im board now ive just finished my latest custom Tanaka M24 flutted barrel version , i struggled to find one of these, they were a limited run ,so only so many made with the flutted barrel.

Anyways let me know what you think ,

Its running a 6.03 vsr type inner barrel 555mm ,a nine ball bucking ,milled endcap that i had to lathe down to fit , stiker spring and impact plates ,+gas router springs ,oh and its just sent a .4bb (gaurder) out to the same 2 foot square target ,with the un-restricted bolt :P :D

very nice
I push my fingers into my eyes
It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus it never ends, it works it's way inside

Scope is a M3 clone but i wanted one with a certain reticule http://demigodllc.com/photo/PAWNEE/inline_..._2061_img_c.jpg

Scope rings are 30mm quick detatch

Out of the box Tanakas have all the power ( 3 types restricted 400 max , unrestricted A LOT ! and power control system from 300 fps on 134a pcs closed %90 of the way to ALOT on propane and pcs open %85 of the way )

The tanaka hop unit is just god awefull out of the box , there are a few ways to sort this ,, the biro mod (use a piece of biro to act as the hop nub ) the bgs hop kit ,used aeg type bucking , or pax kit using the airseal buckings and vsr(awesome type hop)

As for sleep god i need it , me and the wife both looking after each other ,there have benn a few momments but its all good

Further imput

Finally got chance to use my Palmers inline co2 regulator with my m24 tonight and well as its late i will upload the images tomorrow ,but heres my take on what i did saw and felt

So the palmers rig ,dead simple a reulator that drops the pressure of a co2 12g bulb from 900 psi to (mines set for lowest pressure ) 0-300 psi ,now most tanakas mags will only take 150 psi before the mag will explode of just fail . ...
Propane runs around 85 psi at 15oC and the fps results i got from propane with my pcs bolt 1/2 closed were around 500 fps give or take 5 ither side of the figure , but as the mags warmed and cooled the fps fluctuated so shot consistancy changed ,still anything inside 60 metres was almost a %90 dead cert hit on a man side target but further a field there may have been problems , so back to the reg setup.. i taped a long 29 round mag with a 1/8 bps quick detatct coupling and then the same to the rig ,loaded the mag ,inserted the co2 bulb and pressured the mag ,Bang one mag regulated for 80 psi , ..to the crono

10 rounds ,485 485 485 486 486 483 484 487 486 485 ,,seem consistant to you ?

Range every shot landed on a 3 foot square at 81 metres (a window of my office block )

So 85 psi is now what the rifle will be set at at every event as that hits the magic 500 fps target

I have images of a 9 inch roses tin lid (yes the chocaltes ) at 51 metres and the grouping seen is impressive
