Stubby killer –jing gong
Bought from RSOV for £49.00 plus delivery. 1 week for delivery via TNT from Hong Kong
http://www.rsov.com/product/0/1741/p_JG-Ji...iller-6625.html
Came well packed in a cardboard box, with cardboard cut-outs to house the RIF, plus a polystyrene insert to hold everything in place.
Taking the RIF out of the box JGs version of the stubby killer is quite weighty for its size and feels very robust. It has a dark grey plastic receiver, metal flip up sights (front and rear, ris mounted), metal outer barrel, metal RIS, metal hi cap old school M16 magazine (Vietnam style), a rubberised pistol grip and a rubberised short solid stock. Also included are the usual battery, 2 pin charger, cleaning rod etc which tends to come with most Chinese RIFs.
Its basically an M4 so operation is the same as many others.
I took the JG stubby killer to First and Only urban yesterday to put its very first ever bb through it, which went through the chrono! You can imagine I was quite apprehensive, new gun, Chinese RIFs having a bit of a reputation for being a little ‘hot’, and standing in front of my peers. But it chrono’d at a reasonable 300FPS, well chuffed. So I used it for the whole day yesterday. I was expecting the short barrel length to let me down with range, but it seamed to be fine at the ranges found in and around the mill. Its very short length meant that it was easy to move with in an ‘urban’ environment and it was quite easy to switch from hand to hand for cornering.
Looks wise almost everybody that saw the stubby yesterday morning fell about laughing, and made some quite derogatory remarks about it. By the end of the day most people I chatted to about it actually thought it looked pretty cool.
I tried dboys, JG, and MAG, magazines in it, and all worked fine. These are the only magazines I have hence the only ones tested.
PROS
Very good manoeuvrability
Lots of lovely rails to add stuff
I love the looks (this could be a pro or a con depending on your point of view)
UK site friendly (under 1J)
Cheap!
CONS
“golden eagle, metal company” written down the top of the front end (this is going to be remedied with some black spray soon)
Not good for a left handed shooter, because of the shape of the pistol grip
Doesn’t come with the silencer that G&Ps original stubby killer has
Front end a little loose (little thread lock should sort)
Ill stick some pictures of my own up as soon as their taken.

I have been after a G&P stubby killer, but I might just get one of these and stick the zombie killer body I have onto it:)

if you stuck your zombie killer body on it and get the short 9mm silencer with the skull on it, it would look very close to the original.
i did buy a short silencer for it, but prefered it without.

I saw this over the weekend and it looked like a custom Stubby M4... If you hadn't of told me what it was I would not have guessed. and for the price you cannot fault it.
Some see the glass as half full, some see the glass as half empty. what I want to know is who drank the other half.

Hi Sin, I thought it was the G&P!, sounded really meaty and the finish looked the part, bung a stubby Silencer and no one would know, One of the Chinese lads has the G&P version
the chinasoft stuff is really coming on now, I picked up the Kart M14EBR last week in silver, the build is not fantastic but way cheaper than the G&P kit and Marui M14, It will be interesting to see what the new Scar from Boyi is like.
I didn't know it was you, I had that M900 torch in my car, I found it packed up, you still interested?http://www.manc-as.co.uk/forum/style_images/ip.boardpr/folder_mime_types/gif.gif
cheers Armchair

Really like the look of that, imagine it with one of those 9mill conversion kits in the magwell.

Just wondering if you have tried this out at more longer ranges then cqb i cant find a cheaper M4 and i love the look of the stubby. Pretty much im asking if it is suitable for woodland, are there any essential attachments i need?
